The Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, one of our project’s partners, has participated in the Foro Datagri of 2025 beginning of November!
𝑊ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑖𝑠 𝑖𝑡?
DATAGRI is now the leading event for agricultural digitalization in Southern Europe, bringing together experts, researchers, institutions, and innovators to discuss the future of farming. More than 1,200 participants joined this year, onsite and online — a strong signal of the growing momentum around digital transformation in agriculture.

As part of the organizing committee, UPM played an active role in the event — and we were especially excited to give visibility to the TWIN-IN project, which aims to accelerate the adoption of digital twins and smart technologies for more sustainable and efficient agricultural systems.
It included:
- A dedicated talk presenting the Twin-In vision, objectives, and early outcomes
- Active participation in round tables discussing digitalization, data, and innovation
- Six live demonstrations during Field Day (Nov 13th), highlighting precision agriculture and precision livestock practices that directly connect with Twin-In’s mission of bridging data, modelling, and real-world applications
This was a fantastic opportunity to engage directly with farmers, tech providers, and institutions and to show how TWIN-IN is helping translate research into practical solutions for the sector.
