This page will be continuously updated with all the final deliverables of each project’s
Summary
The project is designed and managed to ensure the achievement of its goals through planned work packages (WPs), tasks, and milestones. It also focuses on maintaining high quality and excellence in processes and evaluations, while promoting the transition towards a green and digital future as a central priority for the European Union.
The framework of the project consists of the following WPs:
- WP1 (Project Management and Coordination): This work package focuses on planning, organising, and controlling all activities to ensure the project progresses as planned. It integrates with the other WPs and runs from M1 to M36.
- WP2 (Lessons from the World to EU): The goal of WP2 is to conceptualise responsible twin transitions and identify/share (i) good practices from around the world that promote these transitions, (ii) necessary knowledge and skills to navigate them, and (iii) methods and tools for building new knowledge and skills. The partners will create a catalogue of good practices that will guide subsequent WPs.
- WP3 (Doing Responsible TWIN-IN): WP3 sets the foundation for promoting responsible innovation and knowledge co-creation throughout the project, ensuring efficient gender integration at all stages of TWIN-IN.
- WP4 (Skills Diagnosis): This WP aims to identify gaps in digitalisation and sustainability-related skills among various actors, including students, farmers, farm advisors, researchers, university teachers, VET teachers, VET learners, and startups.
- WP5 (Developing the Toolkit): WP5 focuses on defining educational methods, techniques, and approaches for effective knowledge co-creation and skills development within TTS. EAEA will define these methods, while AUTH will design curricula to be offered in each country, in collaboration with TTS leaders and the WP leader. EAEA will also prepare learning contracts to outline goals, skills, competencies, and expected outcomes between educators and learners.
- WP6 (Twin Transition Schools): In WP6, partners will establish and implement Twin Transition Schools (TTS) in Romania, Italy, Spain, and Greece. TTS represents a new model for creating knowledge and building skills through innovation during twin transitions in the agrifood sector.
- WP7 (Sustaining TWIN-IN): WP7 focuses on sustaining the impact of TWIN-IN beyond the project’s funding period. The Alliance will develop a sustainability plan, create materials for universities, VET providers, and policymakers to promote education for twin transitions, and deliver TTS methods and materials to all participating HEIs, also drafting a plan to integrate TTS into HEI and VET systems in both participating and non-participating countries.
- WP8 (Dissemination and Exploitation): The aim of WP8 is to disseminate and communicate the project’s results to all stakeholders and the public. Actions will be targeted at each group to maximise TWIN-IN’s impact and ensure the exploitation of the project’s results.’
